Summer Music Lessons
Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays in July & August

Beginning on July 4th, pickup your fiddle or get those toes tapping. We offer private youth & adult lessons. In beginner & intermediate fiddle, piano & step-dancing with Féis instructors Anita MacDonald and Christina MacNeil.

Evening classes are available upon request.
$6.00/half hour $10.00/hour

Gaelic Activity Day Camps for Youth


Wednesdays July 6th – August 10th 10am-12:30 pm

Join Féis instructors Anita MacDonald & Christina MacNeil as they deliver a day of activities full of fun and Gaelic language. Children will enjoy games, crafts, and dance, along with learning Gaelic songs and phrases. Pre-registration is not required.

Admission is $6.00 or $12.00 per family. 
Lunch is Not Provided.


Féis an Eilein Youth Song Group

Wednesdays July 6th- August 10th, 1:00pm-2:00pm Adm. No charge

Each week following Gaelic day-camp we will provide the opportunity for youth to come together and learn some Gaelic songs.


Beginner Gaelic Language Classes

Wednesdays July 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th Aug. 3rd, 10th 7- 9 pm Fee is $25.00 for all 6 weeks

Instructor Beth MacNeil teaches this class Using the TIP/Gàidhlig Aig Baile method of focus on teaching Gaelic through oral repetition and body language. It's designed to teach students conversational Gaelic in a fun and stress-free environment without the need to read or write. TIP has become the model for community Gaelic classes in Nova Scotia.


Thursday Evening Classes for Intermediate/Advanced  7-9pm

Féis an Eilein is offering informal intermediate/ advanced classes in Gaelic song, Step-dancing, Celtic guitar . Those who have some experience can come and enjoy the evening and learn a new tune or step.

$10.00 for a 2 hour lesson Tea will be served.

From the Canso Causeway: Take the Trans Canada 105 to Little Narrows, exit 6.
Cross the ferry & turn right. It's approx. 30 kms to here. 

From Sydney: Take the 125 to Leitches Creek turnoff, exit 3. Take Route 223 (turn left). It's approximately 45 kms to here.
Through Eskasoni: From Sydney take the 125 to Route 4 to Eskasoni turnoff. It's 40 kms to here.
