Summer Music Program
Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays in July & August Beginning on July 5th
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at the piano? What about
taking a step-dancing lesson?
Do you have a fiddle lying around the house? Well here’s your
chance to give it all a try! Come out and enjoy private lessons
with Féis instructors Jody MacKenzie and Anita MacDonald.
We
offer youth & adult classes in beginner & intermediate fiddle, piano & step-dancing.
Evening classes are available upon request.
$6.00/half hour $10.00/hour

Gaelic Activity Day Camps for Youth
Wednesdays July 7th – August 11th 10a.m-2p.m
Feis instructors
Anita MacDonald & Jody MacKenzie will deliver a day of activities full of
fun and Gaelic language. Children will enjoy games, crafts, and dance, along
with learning Gaelic songs and phrases. Pre-registration is not required.
Admission is $6.00 or $12.00 per family.
Lunch is Not Provided.
Beginner Gaelic Language Classes
Wednesdays July 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th Aug. 4th, 11th 7- 9 pm Fee is
$30.00 for all 6 weeks
Instructor Beth MacNeil teaches this class using the TIP method (Total
Immersion Plus). The focus is on learning Gaelic through oral
repetition and body language. It is designed to teach students
conversational Gaelic in a fun and stress-free experience without
the need to read or write. TIP has attracted many students over the
past three years and has become the model for community Gaelic
classes in Nova Scotia.
Thursday Evening Classes for
Intermediate/Advanced Students 7-9pm- July 15th, 22nd and 29th
Féis an
Eilein is offering informal intermediate/ advanced classes in Gaelic
song, Step-dancing, Celtic guitar . The aim is for
musicians, singers & dancers who have some experience, come out for
an evening in which you can learn a new tune or step, $10.00 for a 2
hour lesson Tea will be served.
